Vehicle Categories

Cat. 1

Motorcycle

Lowest toll category. Uses standard car lanes at the toll plaza.

Cat. 2

Passenger Car

Standard rate. Most common category for tourists and commuters.

Cat. 3

Van / Minibus

Higher rate. Classification based on vehicle height and weight.

Cat. 4+

Heavy Vehicles

Trucks and lorries. Rates calculated by axle count and gross weight.

Payment Methods

Card Payment

Credit and debit cards accepted at all toll lanes. Primary method for occasional travellers. No pre-registration required.

BroBizz Transponder

Pre-registered transponder device mounted in the vehicle windscreen. Enables express lane access and commuter subscription programs. Register online in advance through the BroBizz platform.

Commuter Programs

Regular bridge users can access subscription programs through BroBizz that offer significantly reduced per-crossing rates. Registration is completed online in advance.

Train — No Bridge Toll

Train passengers pay no bridge toll. The Øresundståg service connects Copenhagen Central to Malmö Central in approximately 35 minutes.
